On a recent visit to my manicurist, we were covering our acrylic nails with purple nail polish. I asked her a few questions and asked for advice, and this is what she said.

What is the purple liquid used for acrylic nails? 

This is a special composition for diluting acrylic powder. The purple hue of the liquid disappears when reacting with the powder and does not affect the final color of the coating. 

Are purple nails in trend this year? 

Purple manicure has not lost its relevance for several years, but there are a few nuances:

 - During the winter season, dark shades of purple combined with stones, rhinestones and boules are in demand;

 - In the springtime in summer my clients mostly ask for light purple and lavender designs decorated with floral prints;

 - Fall is the "lowest" season for purple manicures.

My personal advice: if you have light skin, choose a dark purple shade, if you have dark skin - a light one.
