In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to achieve professional-looking results like skunk stripe hair or two split coloring . This is an easy and fun technique that you can do at home. Let's get started!
Supplies needed:

Step 1: Choose your colors
When choosing colors for split coloring, consider your natural hair shade and skin tone. For Summer, Spring and Autumn color types, choose warm shades such as red and orange. If you have the Winter color type, try cooler shades such as pink and purple, blue and green.
If your base hair color is significantly darker than your chosen color, you may need to pre-lighten for best results.

Step 2: Segment your hair into parts
Start by dividing hair into two sections, one on each side of the head. Then divide each of those parts into two more sections, creating four blocks in total. Use hair clips or ties to keep each block separate.
Keep on dividing your hair until you have the number of sections you need. The number of sections you create will depend on the length and thickness of your hair, as well as the number of colors you have chosen.

Step 3: Start coloring
Begin with one section and apply the color from the roots to the ends. Use a brush or applicator to ensure even coverage.
Be careful not to overlap the colors as this can create a muddy or uneven effect. Use foil to separate the sections of hair and prevent color bleeding. If you do accidentally overlap the colors, use a damp cloth to wipe away the excess before it dries.
Apply the colors to each hair segment in the desired sequence, ensuring full coverage of each section. Take your time and ensure the colors are fully absorbed by each section.

MUST HAVE HAIR CARE PRODUCTS:
Step 4: Allow the color to develop
Allow the color to develop according to the instructions on the dye package. This can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour, depending on the brand and color.
During this time, you can wrap your hair in a towel or shower cap to keep the heat in and help the color develop more quickly. You can also use this time to clean up any spills or drips on the face, neck and behind the ears .

Step 5: Rinse and condition
Rinse off the dye until the water is clear. Be gentle when rinsing to avoid tangling or damaging your hair.
After rinsing, apply a conditioner to your hair and leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing it out. This will help to nourish and protect your hair, leaving it soft and silky.

Step 6: Enjoy the results!
You can blow dry, straighten, or curl your hair as desired. If you have used heat on your hair, be sure to use a heat protectant spray to prevent damage, because immediately after dyeing they are especially sensitive to high temperatures.
