In 1981 I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Wroclaw. After several years of specialized training at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology in Wroclaw, I passed the exams for the first and second degree of specialization. At that time, I also ran an outpatient clinic for hair diseases for several years within the voivodeship dermatovenerological clinic.

In 1986 I graduated from the Silesian Piast Medical University in Wroclaw. I completed my first and second specialization in dermatology under the supervision of Professor Maria Cieslo, MD. I worked in the same clinic for twelve years.
