I have had an interest in photography almost since childhood. My father taught me how to use the FED-5 camera. My friends and I photographed everything, senselessly destroying the Svema 125 film. 20 years later, a childhood friend showed our photo masterpieces. When I received the films, I was overwhelmed with emotion, and that’s when I realized the importance of photography. A photograph is not valuable immediately after the click of the camera, not in an Instagram post or on a computer hard drive. Photography gains value years later, returning us to an atmosphere of carefree joy and happiness, photography brings us back this moment. Gives us a feeling of happiness every time. And every year this feeling becomes stronger and stronger.
I have been doing commercial photography for over 15 years. The hobby of an aspiring photographer has grown into a profession. I believe that an integral part of the professional component of any good photographer is training and self-improvement. So, on the path of my professional development, I studied and observed the work of such wonderful photographers as Dan Hecho, Laszlo Gabanni, Marat Safin, Medvedev, etc. Among well-known foreign photography gurus, the works of Yervant and Jerry Geonis aroused interest. Now I continue to constantly develop and attend various MKs, including online.
What is the main thing in photography? Some will say - moment, someone - emotion, someone - atmosphere, someone - style, and who knows what else. Everyone evaluates photography differently. But what exactly do you value in a photo? This is what I try to figure out during the preliminary meeting. I believe that only in an environment of emotional comfort can you get the treasured “live” shots that will capture real emotions and feelings. Therefore, I set mutual understanding and contact with the client as my top priority. During communication, I try to set up a positive interaction, help to relax and, during shooting, to show those emotions that everyone wants to see in their photographs and albums.
