Hi all! My name is Olga Golubenkova, I am a stylist-make-up artist, hairstyle and hair extensions specialist.
I have had a talent for drawing since childhood. I took all the first places in the city in art Olympiads! And of course, the desire for art was reflected in my pets!
I remember. . . I was about 7 years old. . When my parents left, I took out my mother’s makeup bag, hair gel and painted the dogs’ lips with red lipstick, gave them a fashionable mohawk, dressed them in my dresses, and then took Polaroid photos! I still admire the perseverance of my first clients!
I didn’t come to the choice of this profession right away. After graduating from school and college, I received an education as a programmer, and then graduated from St. Petersburg State Technical University named after. Professor Bonch-Bruevichai graduated with honors and a specialty in Audiovisual Technology.
My first steps into the world of creativity began in my 2nd year at university. It was then that I realized that I was still drawn to beauty!
My mother, a former ballerina, choreographer and stage costume designer, also provoked the change! It was then, in 2005, that she and I organized our own art studio “Kamorka” with zero budget and sheer enthusiasm! This is how our “Carnival Costume Rental” appeared.
When asking for costumes, clients often asked for services to create a full-fledged image: someone needed a stylized hairstyle, makeup, make-up, people wanted to glue on mustaches, beards, eyelashes, wear powdered wigs, draw scars and burns.
That is why I went to develop my artistic skills at the Kadr studio on Lenfilm and trained as a Make-up Artist.
Since I was a novice master, the pricing policy was minimal, orders fell on my head! For some time I worked with a girl colleague in tandem - I did makeup, she did hair! Holidays! Weddings! Evening looks! Graduates! Ehhh. . .
As a result of the collective work, it became clear to me that the creation of a full-fledged image should be done by one master, and all responsibility and mood should be on me! Therefore, I went to the Russian School of Hairdressing and received a specialty in Wedding and Evening Hairstyles. Wedding stylist" and "Hairstyle history. Stylized hairstyles. Pastier products"
Over time, I was lucky enough to learn from such top stylists as Vadim Andreev, Olga Nikiforova, Nolan Robert, Serdar Kambarov, Nadezhda Borisova, Dmitry Ryashin, Konstantin Bogomolov, Maria Kalashnikova, Ulyana Starobenskaya.
It was this experience that motivated me not to stop there and move on. Clients always have an expanded list of requirements for the master, so
- I studied at the Nika-Profi school as a “Hair Extension Master” and can do hair extensions in 10 ways
- additionally completed the “Hairdresser-Colorist” course, for the general development of my horizons
- for clients who lack hair smoothness and root volume, she received the specialties “Master of Keratin Hair Restoration” and “Master of Fleecing”
- became a regional representative of the protein shake for hair “Silky Hair”
- opened her own production of extensions and hair extensions (fake ponytails, monostrands, single-strands, hair on clips and ribbons) - they can be purchased or rented
- organized an online store for wedding and evening jewelry with Swarovski crystals
- now I am sharing my experience, I have opened master classes and lessons “Your own makeup artist”, “Training for designer hair extensions”, “Fleecing. Root volume", "Mathematics and psychology of color"
Today is the 13th year of my creative work, which I am very proud of and am trying to develop further!
I can only say one thing: I love my job!
I love watching the transformation of my clients, how they enjoy their new reflection in the mirror, how I bring them joy, satisfaction and self-confidence!!! I am constantly looking for inspiration. I meet talented people who give me all these insights and the understanding that I am ready to share my experience with others.
