After disinfection, the instruments are cleaned with a brush and rinsed under running water and dried. Sterilization. Dry instruments, after disinfection and thorough cleaning, are placed in special craft bags with color indicators and then sent to an autoclave. Sterilization occurs within 1 hour. ⠀
