At 57, I really started to notice my sagging neck and jowls and wanted to fix it. After diving into the topic of plastic surgery and consulting with several surgeons, I chose Dr. Marina Chetverikova based on her amazing before and after results, her experience and personal communication. We discussed it with her and came to the decision that an integrated approach is needed and it would be better to do a combined operation. I had the following list: SMAS lift of the lower third of the face and neck, upper fat-preserving secondary blepharoplasty. During the operation I did not feel anything. The first few days after the lift were a little uncomfortable for me, but nothing I couldn't deal with with pain medication and a lot of sleep and lazing around. Now about the results. According to my husband, it’s “amazing because you now look 10 years younger.” After about 4 days I was 100% comfortable going out in public. I had minor (yellow) bruising and minimal swelling.
