My name is Yana and I am a photographer. My path to photography was long and thorny.
Let's start with the fact that I am a lawyer by education. However, in my sixth year of working in my specialty, I realized that the world of paperwork, intrigue and delays is completely not for me (yes, better late than never)). Then the search for my purpose and life’s work began.

Back in 2008, I came across a Nikon d 70 - my first DSLR. I began to photograph everything: people, houses, landscapes, some street sketches, in general, everything that my gaze fell on. Over time, I began to understand more and more that looking at the world through a camera lens is my thing. Since then, a continuous process of study, self-improvement and training began. Of course, what was at the beginning of my journey and what is now cannot be compared. My work has changed a lot, as have I.

Now my favorite genre of photography is female portrait. Why? Because watching my models open up and discover new facets of themselves in front of the camera is very exciting. It’s especially nice to learn that many girls begin to love and appreciate themselves more after the shoot.
Lately I have also begun to devote a lot of time to male portraiture. By the way, it also turned out to be quite interesting and exciting. And very different from a female portrait.

In addition to portraits, my portfolio includes weddings, love stories, and even family photography. There are not many of them, but with all my heroes we always ended up on the “same wavelength”, and this is almost 90% of success. Reportage shooting is a separate topic. I really love music and dancing, so I mainly photograph concerts, festivals and dance competitions. In general, I shoot what I love!

As I said above, I try to shoot only what I love. And traveling is not even love, it is passion. This is how things are now, and I’m incredibly glad that I’m able to shoot a lot while traveling. And the last point about me, which is reflected in my work, is yoga. I often shoot in yoga studios (hammocks, static poses, events). I photograph outdoor yoga tours. By the way, an excellent symbiosis of travel, self-development and work)
