The main difference between sugaring and classic wax depilation is the special oil used for the procedure. Oil applied to the skin gives a relaxing aroma of lavender, deeply moisturizes the skin, and reduces discomfort during hair removal. Wax, heated to a comfortable temperature when applied to oil-saturated skin, forms adhesion to the hair and not to the skin, which minimizes all unpleasant (from hair removal) sensations. Next, warm oil is applied to the feet with massage movements, which promotes complete relaxation and enjoyment of the procedure. For sensitive “hot” areas, a cool, gentle emulsion is used, giving the skin a velvety feel.
