Hello, my name is Maria, I am a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist.
I provide individual consultations for adults and adolescents from 16 years of age.
In my work, I use process-oriented and narrative approaches, and also integrate methods from other therapeutic areas.
For me, psychotherapy is a process of joint research, searching for meaning, resources, internal supports, values, and ways for change. This is the creation of a safe space of trusting relationships, which makes it possible to gain new experiences. This is a movement towards integrity and self-awareness.
- From my point of view, there is no “universal technique” that will suit everyone. Therefore, I try, first of all, to pay attention to the client’s personality, since we are always more than the problem that has arisen in our life.
- It seems to me important to pay a lot of attention to the atmosphere of contact, creating an accepting, non-judgmental, supportive space where you can openly share your experiences with me and try to find ways for change.
- For me, the client himself is the author of his life, so I strive not to impose my values and my perception of the world on you.

What topics do I most often get asked about?
- A feeling of loss of meaning in life (I don’t know why I live), apathy (I don’t want anything, life has lost its colors, what used to be of interest has become indifferent)
- Life crises, difficulties with building a life perspective (I don’t know where I’m going, I don’t understand what I need).
- Help in adapting to changes (change of job, place of residence, etc.)
- Difficulties of self-determination (who am I in this world?). I want to understand myself (my needs, motives, feelings, values).
- Anxiety, fears, guilt.
- Self-doubt, low self-esteem.
- Relationship problems:
- With a partner: frequent quarrels, my partner doesn’t understand/hears me, it seems like my feelings have disappeared/I don’t understand how I feel;
- With parents: difficulties of separation (I want to separate, start living my own life, but it doesn’t work), problems of interaction between different generations.
- Feeling of loneliness; unable to build close relationships.
- Constant self-criticism, lack of self-acceptance, in particular, dissatisfaction with one’s appearance/weight/body.
- Perfectionism (never manages to achieve perfection, therefore I am always dissatisfied with myself; high expectations and reality do not coincide).
- Psychosomatics (bodily symptoms bother you, but doctors don’t find their cause)
If you want to address a different topic, come, we will try to find ways to solve your problem together.
